Abstract

The Russian Federation has been under the influence of economic sanctions for more than 10 years. By 2024, the pressure has become so widespread that the Russian Federation leads the world ranking in terms of the number of sanctions imposed against it. However, unprecedented pressure had the opposite effect than the desired one. The article provides an analysis of the positive impact of sanctions on various sectors of the Russian economy and assesses the investment attractiveness of its subjects.
