ETHNOPSYCHOLINGUISTICS: APPROACHES TO THE TOPIC

Abstract

Ethnopsycholinguistics is the most important scientific field studying the relationship between the language and culture of the people. It explores how language reflects the peculiarities of the mentality and worldview of ethnic groups, as well as the influence of cultural factors on linguistic processes. Ethnopsycholinguistics studies the way of thinking and perception of the world through the prism of language, as well as the influence of ethnic identity on linguistic behavior. An important aspect of ethnopsycholinguistics is the preservation and study of the unique linguistic and cultural traditions of various ethnic groups.
