STUDY OF ALLERGOLOGICAL HISTORY IN CHILDREN WITH ACUTE BRONCHITIS

Abstract

The growth of infectious diseases of the respiratory system is a pressing problem of modern pediatrics. Infections of the bronchial system are especially common in children and adolescents. Most of them are caused by viruses that are tropic to the epithelium of the respiratory tract, affecting both the upper and lower respiratory tract. Among infectious and inflammatory diseases of the lower respiratory tract, the main part is bronchitis, the incidence of which has a clear dependence on the season, region, age of the child and the epidemiological situation.

In the Russian Federation, every year a large number of children suffer from diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, where the leading position is occupied by acute bronchitis, which occurs 2-4 times more often in children under 4 years of age than in older age

The study involved 94 children aged 1 to 6 years, of which 32 were the control group and the main group was 62 children in the acute phase of acute bronchitis.As a result of the study, we found that a burdened allergic history increases the possibility of developing inflammation of the lower respiratory tract. Allergies in the first year of life, as well as sensitization to food, household and dust allergens are potential risk factors that increase the likelihood of developing obstructive bronchitis.
