Abstract

This article explores volunteering as an effective tool for preventing internet addiction in adolescents. The paper examines the concepts and mechanisms of internet addiction and their impact on the mental and social development of young people. Particular attention is paid to the role of volunteer programs as a resource for social support that contributes to addiction prevention, as well as the methods for organizing such programs and their psychological components. The article aims to highlight the importance of integrating volunteer initiatives into preventive work with adolescents to foster the healthy and harmonious development of young people in the digital environment.
