PROBLEMS OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION OF THE EXECUTION OF PUNISHMENT IN THE FORM OF FORCED LABOR
Abstract
The article discusses issues related to the specifics of the organization of prosecutorial supervision of compliance with laws in the execution of non-custodial sentences in institutions of the penal system. Attention is drawn to such key obstacles as gaps in legal regulation, shortcomings in interdepartmental cooperation, lack of specialization and resources in the prosecutor's office, as well as high corruption risks associated with the specifics of this type of punishment. Based on the findings, ways are proposed to improve oversight activities to strengthen the protection of convicts' rights and ensure the rule of law.
