Abstract

The article discusses the problems of prosecutorial supervision over the execution of punishment provided for by Article 48 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It is shown that the main difficulties are associated with the dual model of execution of this punishment, the incomplete regulatory regulation of actual actions to execute the sentence, and the lack of special rules for prosecutorial review in relation to this category of cases.
