PROBLEMS OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION OVER THE OBSERVANCE OF LABOR RIGHTS OF PERSONS SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT

The article examines a set of theoretical and applied problems that arise in the process of prosecutorial supervision of compliance with labor laws in correctional institutions of the Russian state. The authors conduct a detailed analysis of the specifics of the legal status of convicts, combining elements of labor and penitentiary legal relations. The paper identifies fundamental problems such as insufficient jobs, violations in the field of labor protection, difficulties in calculating wages and deductions, as well as conflicts between the norms of the Penal Enforcement and Labor Codes of the Russian Federation. As solutions, the author suggests measures to improve the methods of prosecutorial inspections, strengthen the coordination activities of the prosecutor's office and the legal integration of standards of working conditions in closed institutions.
