PROBLEMS OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION OF THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS DETECTED ON SUSPICION OF COMMITTING A CRIME

Abstract

The article examines the prosecutor's supervision over the observance of the rights of individuals detained on suspicion of committing a crime. It analyzes the legal grounds, procedure, and deadlines for detention, as well as the prosecutor's authority to verify the legality of this measure of procedural coercion. Special attention is given to the subject of the supervisory review. The article identifies the problems of legal regulation caused by the limited authority of the prosecutor in the pre-trial stages.
