PROBLEMS OF COUNTERING CORRUPTION IN THE CRIMINAL-EXECUTIVE SYSTEM

Abstract

The presented study aims to address issues related to combating corruption in the institutions of the Russian Federation's penal system. The authors identify the specific features of the legal regulation of this area of anti-corruption activities and the factors contributing to the occurrence of corruption in the penal system. Special attention is given to the role of prosecutors in overseeing the compliance of the administration of penal institutions with the law and anti-corruption legislation. The study concludes with suggestions for improving the prosecutors' oversight activities in this area.
