PROBLEMS OF COUNTERING CRIMINAL STRUCTURES OPERATING IN CRIMINAL PENITENTIARIES
Abstract
Countering criminal structures that have taken root in the penitentiary system remains one of the most pressing and multifaceted challenges in modern law enforcement. These structures, often characterized by complex hierarchies and well-established mechanisms of influence, not only destabilize the internal functioning of correctional facilities but also pose a significant threat to public safety beyond their borders.
