PROSECUTOR'S SUPERVISION OF OPERATIONAL INVESTIGATIVE ACTIVITIES: EXPERIENCES AND CHALLENGES

Abstract

The article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of prosecutorial supervision of the operational investigative activities of law enforcement agencies. The article examines the legal basis of this type of supervision, its subject and limits, as well as key problems that hinder the effective exercise of prosecutorial powers. Special attention is paid to the issues of terminological uncertainty, digitalization of the media and the need to improve the regulatory framework. The authors substantiate the need for an integrated approach to modernizing prosecutorial supervision, taking into account modern challenges while unconditionally respecting the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens.
