PRIVATE PROSECUTION CASES IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS: FEATURES AND PROBLEMS
Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the institution of private prosecution in criminal proceedings. The authors examine the concept and nature of this institution, highlighting key procedural features of such cases, as well as challenges in law enforcement. The authors conclude that the procedural mechanism needs to be improved to ensure victims' effective access to justice and propose possible ways to optimize this institution.
