THE COORDINATING ROLE OF THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE IN COUNTERING CORRUPTION: EVALUATING EFFECTIVENESS

Abstract

The article analyzes the coordinating role of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation in the system of anti-corruption measures. Based on the analysis of legislation and statistical data, the main areas of the Prosecutor's Office's activities as a coordinating body are considered, including supervision over the implementation of anti-corruption legislation and conducting anti-corruption expertise. The authors conclude that it is necessary to comprehensively assess the effectiveness of the Prosecutor's Office's coordinating activities.
