Abstract

This article examines the development of creative thinking in elementary school students during "World Around Us" lessons. The first section defines creative thinking and demonstrates the importance and relevance of research on this topic in modern education. Based on theoretical research by methodologists and educators, classifications of various creative tasks and assignments aimed at developing creative thinking in primary school students are identified. To demonstrate the practical nature of the "World Around Us" course and the potential for using various assignments to develop creative thinking, the article presents examples of creative assignments that can be used directly in "World Around Us" lessons. The final section describes the advantages of using various methods and techniques in "World Around Us" lessons to develop creative thinking.
