PROBLEMS OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION OVER THE OBSERVANCE OF THE RIGHTS OF MINORS

Abstract

The scientific article is devoted to the analysis of the essence of prosecutorial supervision, in particular, prosecutorial supervision of the observance of the rights of minors.

The provisions of the Federal Law "On the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation" regulating the exercise of prosecutorial supervision are analyzed.

The following issues have been investigated: ensuring the realization of the right to education for children; compliance with laws on minors; activities of the commission for minors; employment of minors; observance of the right to housing for orphaned children.

Solutions to the presented problems are proposed by making changes to the current legislation, bringing it into line with existing regulatory legal acts related to the protection of the rights of minors. The prospects for the development of prosecutorial supervision in the near future have been identified.
