PROSECUTOR'S SUPERVISION OVER THE OBSERVANCE OF THE RIGHTS OF MINORS DURING PRE-TRIAL PROCEEDINGS
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the prosecutor's supervision over the observance of the rights of minors during pre-trial criminal proceedings. The article considers the regulatory bases of supervisory activities, the specifics of the application of procedural coercion measures against minors and the specifics of providing special criminal procedural guarantees. Special attention is paid to the problems of overburdening prosecutors and the need to improve organizational forms of protection of children's rights. The possibility of creating the institute of juvenile prosecutor's office as a tool to increase the effectiveness of supervision and the implementation of the principle of priority of the interests of the child is substantiated.
