Abstract

The article discusses the current problems of implementing the constitutional right of minors to public and free education, as well as the role of the prosecutor's office in protecting this right. Based on an analysis of statistical data, departmental regulations, judicial practice, and scientific publications, the article identifies typical violations in the educational sphere, such as illegal monetary fees, unjustified refusals to admit and expel students, restrictions on physical accessibility to education, and violations during the final state examination. Special attention is given to the prosecutor's role in protecting the rights of individuals and groups. The author concludes that it is necessary to improve the effectiveness of prosecutorial supervision by strengthening preventive work, legal education, and interagency cooperation, and also points out the existing procedural limitations that make it difficult to protect children's interests in a timely manner.
