CURRENT ISSUES OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION OVER THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LAW ON MINORS AND YOUTH

Abstract

This article deals with current issues of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of legislation on minors and youth. It examines the regulatory framework of supervisory activities, the role of the prosecutor's office in protecting children's rights and preventing juvenile delinquency, as well as statistical indicators of the effectiveness of prosecutorial responses. Special attention is paid to the problems of interdepartmental interaction within the prevention system, violations in the activities of guardianship and trusteeship authorities, and the discussion on the feasibility of establishing an institution of juvenile prosecution. The conclusion is drawn about the need to improve legal regulation and coordinate the activities of state bodies to ensure adequate protection of the rights of minors.
