PROBLEMS OF TRANSLATOR'S PARTICIPATION IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS

Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the key aspects of an interpreter's involvement in criminal proceedings, focusing on legal issues and potential difficulties. All stages of legal proceedings where the presence of an interpreter is necessary are considered, his procedural status, rights and obligations are determined. A number of measures are proposed to improve the mechanism of interpreter participation in criminal proceedings.
