THE SPECIAL ROLE OF THE COURT AS A SUBJECT OF EVIDENCE IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS

Abstract

The article is aimed at analyzing the role of the court as a subject of evidence in the criminal proceedings of the Russian Federation. The main focus is on establishing the functions of the court in collecting evidence, evaluating and verifying it. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the court plays a high role in evidence and that it is necessary to maintain a balance between active participation and excessive interference that can affect the fairness of criminal proceedings.
