Abstract

The article discusses the features and problems of prosecutorial supervision over the observance of human and civil rights and freedoms in the conduct of operational investigative activities. The author analyzes the powers of the prosecutor, the forms of his response and the legal mechanisms for protecting individuals from possible abuses. The necessity of improving legislation and strengthening the guarantees of legality in the field of operational-investigative activities is substantiated.
