Abstract

this article is devoted to the study of problems arising in the implementation of prosecutorial supervision of compliance with the terms of the preliminary investigation in the criminal process. The author examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the organization and implementation of prosecutorial supervision, analyzes the causes and consequences of violations of the terms of the preliminary investigation. This article also examines modern law enforcement practice, noting the lack of a clear mechanism for monitoring deadlines at this stage of the criminal process.
