ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ORGANIZATION OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION OF THE PROCEDURAL ACTIVITIES OF THE BODIES OF INQUIRY AND PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION

Abstract

The study is an analysis of the current problems of the effectiveness of the organization of prosecutorial supervision of the procedural activities of the bodies of inquiry and preliminary investigation. The authors define the essence and content of prosecutorial supervision in the Russian Federation, its functions, role and mechanisms of practical implementation. Separately, attention is focused on the shortcomings of the legal regulation of the activities of domestic prosecutors in the criminal process. Based on the results of the work, proposals are being put forward to amend the acts of the current legislation.
