THE PROBLEM OF DETAINING SUSPECTS

Abstract

This article examines current issues related to the detention of suspects within the framework of domestic criminal proceedings. The author explores questions concerning the grounds, procedure, and duration of detention, as well as the guarantees of the rights of detainees. Additionally, the article analyzes the viewpoints of legal scholars who have identified problems in detaining suspects, as well as court practice materials on incorrect documentation of a suspect's detention protocol.
