USE OF VIDEO TECHNOLOGY IN THE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE OF RUSSIA
Abstract
This article examines the features and prospects of using video technologies in the criminal process in Russia. The author analyzes the types of video technologies used in criminal proceedings, the country's legal framework on video conferencing, and the views of legal scholars who have repeatedly addressed the issue of the limits of using video recordings at all stages of criminal proceedings. This article explores the challenges that arise when using various types of video technologies in the criminal process.
