PROBLEMS OF USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN INVESTIGATIVE ACTIVITIES
Abstract
This study reveals the current problems of the use of information technology in investigative activities. It is substantiated that information technologies, which are regularly improved, containing complex programs and tools for encrypting information and destroying digital data, negatively affect the process of investigating and solving crimes by investigators and increase the threat to the integrity and reliability of the digital forensics process, in connection with which, the work formulated appropriate proposals to level out the identified problems.
