Abstract

This article aims to analyze the issues of distinguishing between the crimes specified in Articles 292 and 303 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The authors examine the objective and subjective characteristics of each crime and highlight the most significant elements. Special attention is given to borderline cases, where the distinction becomes more challenging. Based on the results of the study, the authors identify the criteria that must be taken into account to differentiate between official forgery and falsification.
