HOSTAGE-TAKING AND RELATED CRIMES

Abstract

This article examines the criminal and legal characteristics of hostage-taking, namely the definition of hostage-taking, the signs of the objective and subjective side. The relations of hostage-taking with related crimes are considered. The analysis of the norms of the current legislation has been carried out, which make it possible to clearly define the boundaries between hostage-taking and other criminal offenses.
