PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF ENTREPRENEURS BY THE COMMISSIONER FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF ENTREPRENEURS IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

The article examines the issues of protecting entrepreneurs' rights by the Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights in the Russian Federation. The study provides a detailed analysis of the tasks of the business ombudsman institution as a body protecting entrepreneurs' rights and freedoms, including specific examples from federal and regional levels that clearly demonstrate the functioning of this institution in the field of entrepreneurs' rights protection. Additionally, the research focuses on the status of business ombudsmen in Russia regarding the appointment procedure for the Commissioner's position. The author critically evaluates this mechanism in terms of its potential negative impact on the effectiveness of the ombudsman's role in protecting entrepreneurs' rights.
