Abstract

The scientific article examines the specifics of prosecutorial supervision of the legality of the detention of persons suspected of committing a crime. Special attention is paid to the powers of the prosecutor to monitor the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, which contribute to the prevention of violations by law enforcement agencies.
