Abstract

the research is aimed at considering issues related to the definition of the specifics of the powers, tasks and functions of prosecutors of the Russian Federation in criminal proceedings. The main focus is on the analysis of the functions of prosecutors, their relationship to tasks and powers. In conclusion, it is concluded that the legislative regulation of the procedural status of the prosecutor is highly effective, which allows for high results of his practical activities and has a positive impact on the entire criminal justice system.
