SOME PROBLEMS OF THE PROSECUTOR'S SUPERVISION OF THE PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION BODIES
Abstract
the scientific article is devoted to the characterization of some problematic aspects of the implementation of the prosecutor's supervisory powers over the bodies of preliminary investigation. The authors focused on the interaction of the prosecutor's office and investigative authorities. The main problems are seen in the non-binding nature of the prosecutor's demands to eliminate violations of the law, as well as the cluttered procedures for resolving interdepartmental disagreements, which affect the timing of criminal proceedings. The necessity of creating a joint document in order to specify the provisions on cooperation between the prosecutor's office and the investigation was expressed.
