METAPHORICAL MEANINGS OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH ZOOMORPHIC COMPONENT IN FRENCH AND RUSSIAN

Abstract

This document examines the lexical and semantic features of zoosemic phraseological units using metaphorical transfer in French and Russian in a comparative aspect. At the same time, three groups of phraseological units with animal names that have full and partial equivalents were identified, as well as phraseological units that do not have equivalents in the compared languages.
