FEATURES OF DIGITAL FRAUD IN RUSSIA

Abstract

This article examines the issue of fraud in Russia, with a focus on its modern forms, including telephone and internet fraud. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of such crimes, necessitating heightened attention from legislators and law enforcement agencies. The study incorporates comparative data on international experiences in combating fraud, including technological solutions applied in the United States and Europe. Based on the analysis, recommendations are proposed for improving the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation, strengthening control over financial transactions, and enhancing the population’s level of digital literacy.
