EFFECTIVENESS OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION Of COMPLIANCE WITH PROBATION CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article examines the effectiveness of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of probation conditions in the Russian Federation. The analysis of the legal basis of probation and the powers of prosecutors identifies problematic areas of supervisory activity and suggests ways to solve them in order to improve the effectiveness of probation control. The findings of the study indicate the need for legislative changes and professional training of prosecutors to more effectively monitor compliance with probation.
