THE ROLE OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION IN ENSURING HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE EXECUTION OF CRIMINAL SENTENCES

Abstract

This article examines aspects of the protection of human rights in the execution of criminal penalties by the prosecutor in the process of exercising their respective supervisory functions. The authors examine the acts of the federal legislation of the Russian Federation on aspects of prosecutorial supervision, as well as the opinions of legal scholars who have addressed the issue of ensuring human rights in the penal enforcement process. This article also analyzes statistical data indicating the level of ensuring the rights of convicts.
