PROBLEMS OF APPLYING SECURITY MEASURES TO PARTICIPANTS IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS

Abstract

in the framework of this article, we have reviewed the institute for ensuring the safety of persons involved in criminal proceedings. Having analyzed the security measures in the law, we have identified those problems that, in our opinion, need to be solved in order to increase the state of protection of citizens in the criminal process, as well as to eliminate ambivalent interpretations of the conceptual apparatus by officials in the framework of resolving a criminal case. The paper proposes specific additions to Russian legislation that will be able to solve the problems we previously identified.
