FEATURES OF THE TRANSLATION OF DIALECTISMS AND REGIONALISMS FROM ENGLISH INTO RUSSIAN

Abstract

This article examines the theoretical aspects of the functioning of dialectisms and regionalisms in the language, describes the main methods and techniques of their translation from English to Russian, and determines the influence of the cultural context on the choice of methods for translating dialectisms. The correct translation of dialectisms and regionalisms allows you to preserve the authenticity and style of the original, as well as provide understanding and emotional load of the text in the target language.
